The Phoenix Hotel, a cornerstone of downtown Lanesboro, was built in 1870 and hosted the original railroad ticket office. The building burned down in a mysterious fire in 1885. We pay homage to the important role of the railroad in Lanesboro history with this distinctive 4-room railroad themed hotel and it's party room, The Phoenix Lounge. We took over management of the property in November of 2023 and refreshed the design to suit the modern traveler with that enjoys the charm of history but with updated design. 

With a kitchenette and full size fridge it's a ideal for bringing in a catered meal or providing snacks for a group.
