We had our holiday in the winter. It was wonderful. The hotel is absolutely beautiful. The rooms are great, the amenities are incredibly good and modern. The surrounding area is simply stunning. We were able to relax wonderfully.

Located on the main street just steps away from the Commonweal theater company. Easily walk to shops, cafes and bars. Located on the Root River Trail. Comfortable room with small refrigerator and microwave. Quiet as well. Community room at the end of the hall with a large refrigerator and two k-cup coffee makers. Great for a quick get away and great theater.

I stayed at the Iron Horse in Lanesboro for a weekend trip with my son and we had a wonderful experience. The accommodations were clean, comfortable, and felt very safe. While the building has over a century of history, everything was modern, updated, and well cared for. Service was prompt and helpful throughout our stay, and the location made it easy to get to everything in town. I’d definitely recommend the Iron Horse for anyone visiting Lanesboro.

Great location in Lanesboro! This inn was super cute inside including some exposed brick walls. It has 4 rooms and a large gathering area with a full kitchen. It is in the best location! The rooms are over the top of a motorcycle gear shop. Unfortunately we were there 1 week too early for it to be open for the season.

We stayed here for a long weekend and absolutely loved it. The room was very clean and had everything that we needed. The bed was very comfortable. The location was perfect. Right next door to a pastry shoppe! We plan to stay again when we return to Lanesboro.

We stayed at the Inn over Labor Day weekend. The location is perfect - in the middle of town and around the corner from the bike trail head. The room was extremely clean and had everything we needed. We traveled with another couple so the gathering room was a great place to meet up at the end of the day. Will definitely be back! Thank you, Pat!

I just can't say enough good things about our experience. The staff really made us feel like we were at home, all of the staff ride motorcycles and were so accommodating and friendly. Our room was super clean, and just like you would want at home.

SUPER helpful getting a leather vest...ended up buying clears, a bandana, and gloves, too. Then we got a tour of their rooms upstairs which were beautiful. Would recommend to all biker visitors...stop in, grt what you need, maybe even stay the night!

Pat is the man. There's good motorcycle stores and less good motorcycle stores. This is a good motorcycle store. And the pastry shoppe next door has good pork chop sandwiches. Just bring cash or check.

Found this place while on a motorcycle trip with my wife. The owner, Pat, was awesome! The place was very clean, bed was great, coffee in the morning and biker friendly. Pat also had some great suggestions on where to eat & drink that night and the next morning, right next door for breakfast. It was raining the next morning, I got a call from Pat letting me know that if we needed more time to hang before checking out, that we were welcome to wait for the rain to end if we needed. If you’re riding, looking for a great place to stay, we highly recommend the Ironhorse Inn. We’ll be back.

The friendly owner greeted us upon check-in and gave us helpful local recommendations. The hotel itself is very clean, cozy, and welcoming; our bed was comfortable. We appreciated that this is seemingly one of the few places in town that doesn't have a two-night minimum stay, as we were only staying for one night. Be aware that the hotel is upstairs in a historic building (which adds to the ambience), meaning that it's only accessible by stairs. If limited mobility is a concern, look elsewhere. We enjoyed our stay here, and would stay again!
